2024年3月10日至14日，北美比较与国际教育协会第68届年会在美国迈阿密举行。我院刘宝存教授、滕珺教授、丁瑞常副教授、胡昳昀副教授、向芯博士、荆晓丽博士等参加了会议。

我院老师在会议上围绕不同的主题发表了演讲：刘宝存教授：Challenge or Opportunity？：The Impact and Countermeasures of China's Population Decline and Aging on Education---A Comparative Perspective；丁瑞常副教授：The SDG4 and Equity in Higher Education: Actions and Challenges in the Asia-Pacific Region；胡昳昀副教授：Why Latin American Students Choose China, the Farthest Country from Their Home Countries, as a Study Abroad Destination: An Empirical Investigation Based on the Push-pull Model；滕珺教授和向芯博士：Education as Capital? A Critical Discourse Analysis of the Investment Discourse in International Research on Chinese Rural Education；荆晓丽博士：Enhancing Transnational Education Quality through Institutional, National, and International Approaches: A Case Study of the SILC Business School at Shanghai University。

北美比较与国际教育学会（Comparative and International Education Society，简称CIES）成立于1956年，是全球历史最悠久、规模最大的比较教育学会组织。与会期间，我院教师与来自世界各地的比较教育专家学者进行了交流。
