2024年2月，我院刘敏副教授以通讯作者身份在国际期刊International Journal of Technology and Design Education和Frontiers in Education分别发表题为Co-making the future: Crafting tomorrow with insights and perspectives from the China-U.S. young maker competition）和Co-making the future: judges’ insights on transdisciplinary creativity and global collaboration in the China-U.S. young maker competition的研究成果。

两篇论文是在连续三年跟踪北师大教育部中美青年创客中心人才培养过程的基础上形成的。论文详细阐述了创客教育的现状与未来发展潜力，以全球胜任力六大核心素养为研究框架，分析了跨学科环境、跨文化合作、项目制培养对学生全球胜任力发展的作用，通过剖析中美青年创客大赛的案例，提出建立体验式、包容性和前瞻性的教学方法，并强调了全球合作在培养未来创新者方面的关键作用。
