On September 23-30, 2023, IICE Associate Professor Liu Min participated in the 2023 European Association for International Education (EAIE) Annual Conference and Exhibition held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. This year's conference was themed "Convergence" and attracted nearly 6,000 education professionals from around the world. During this period, IICE Associate Professor Liu attended the opening ceremony, education exhibitions, and other activities. She also received presentations on the development of higher education and internationalization in the Netherlands.

Furthermore, on behalf of Beijing Normal University, IICE Associate Professor Liu held discussions with representatives from several universities, including the University of California, Berkeley (USA), the Free University of Brussels (Belgium), the University of Glasgow (UK), King's College London (UK), the University of St Andrews (UK), Aix-Marseille University (France), the University of Bayreuth (Germany), the University of Rome I (Italy), and more. These discussions covered topics related to internationalization strategies in higher education and the mobility of international students.

The EAIE, established in 1989, is a professional network and resource center for internationalization in European higher education, known for its international reputation. This visit was organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange to showcase China's achievements in higher education, commitment to openness, and a willingness to promote mutually beneficial cooperation. It involved 27 Chinese universities, including Beijing Normal University, Peking University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, and others.
