Publish Date:2024-09-26

On September 26, 2024, an International Education Exchange Conference, jointly organized by IICE at Beijing Normal University and the Haijia Education Research Institute, was held at Beijing Haijia School. IICE Fifteen Erasmus program graduate students, along with several master’s and doctoral students, participated in the event. Dr. PENG Jingci, the Superintendent of Haijia School, and Peter Fremaux, the Head of the Middle School, delivered welcoming speeches and provided a detailed overview of the school’s development. IICE students then divided into groups to observe live teaching sessions in English, Science, and Personal and Social Education classes, gaining insights into Haijia School's teaching models and teacher-student interaction styles.

Additionally, IICE graduate students toured the school’s campus facilities and engaged in in-depth discussions with faculty and students on key topics such as “Implementing International Education” and “Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Schools”. This exchange conference offered a valuable platform for students from diverse backgrounds to come together, sharing knowledge, ideas, and cultural experiences. It not only enriched the understanding of Chinese school culture for international participants but also strengthened cross-cultural dialogue and international collaboration in education.
