In-depth study, promotion and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, an essay competition titled "Striving in a New Journey, Achieving in a New Era", held within the Beijing educational system, was organized by the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee's Education Working Committee and the Beijing Municipal Education Commission. This was done to guide teachers and students towards advancing into a new journey, showcasing new achievements, and contributing to the comprehensive development of a socialist modern country and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. IICE Assistant Professor Ding Ruichang was awarded the first prize in the university teachers' category for this essay competition.
