On December 4-6, 2020, the 3rd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development and Education Innovation High-end Forum was held in the city of Dongguan, Guangdong Province. More than a hundred experts from all over the country conducted in-depth and multi-dimensional exchanges and discussions around the theme of "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Education Demonstration Zone Construction and System Innovation".

IICE Professor LIU Baocun was invited to attend the forum and delivered a speech entitled “Global Literacy Education and International Talent Cultivation”. Professor LIU illustrated the connotation and structure of global literacy, analyzed paths and methods of global literacy education, and put forward suggestions for strengthening global literacy education in China’s basic education system.
