From October 16th to 17th, 2020, IICE Professor TENG Jun, Prof. YANG Mingquan, Prof. JIANG Yingmin, Prof. GAO Yimin, and Prof. MA Jiansheng attended the experience exchange activities of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Education Development Center on Education for International Understanding. During the visit, IICE professors listened to the stage reports on the development of international understanding education in Shishi Tianfu Middle School, Chengdu No. 7 Middle School, Chengdu High-tech Xinyuan School, High-tech Experimental Primary School, and Montpellier Primary School. Furthermore, they participated in the international understanding classroom display activities of these 5 model schools, and completed the release of "Guidelines for the Development of International Understanding Curriculum for Primary and Secondary Schools in High-tech Zone". Meanwhile, the teachers also studied the Experimental Middle School of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Xingzhi Primary School, and Horsens Primary School with respect to their teaching ideas and other issues related to seed teachers of the new model school.

During the activities, IICE professors put forward specific applicable suggestions for teachers in the demonstration classes. The international understanding classroom demonstrations of the 5 model schools shared different thinking about the practice of international understanding education. It was the research outcomes of one year of polished research under the careful guidance of our teachers and the joint efforts of the seed teachers of the model schools, which also opened up the opportunity for international understanding.
