On June 13, 2020, the opening ceremony and the first forum of “High School Education Innovation and Progress · Principal Forum” were held in Beijing. IICE Distinguished Professor GU Mingyuan was invited to attend the forum and delivered a speech. He pointed out that the development of high school education in China should be heading towards a direction that is diversified, selectable, and individualized. He emphasized that high school education should aim at cultivating students with spirits of patriotism, optimism, and aspirations as well as imparting subject knowledge.
