From August 27 to 30, 2019, the research team for IICE’s key project ‘Educational System and Policy Studies of Countries along Belt and Road’ paid a visit to Singapore. The team was led by IICE lecturer Dr. DING Ruichang and joined by IICE’s Dr. HU Yiyun, IICE’s master’s student KANG Yunfei, and the Associate Professor HAO Lixiang of Hebei Normal University of Science and Technology. The research team visited Singapore’s Ministry of Education, National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University, National Singapore University, and Singapore’s think tank The Head Foundation respectively, studying various topics such as Singapore’s educational internationalization, development of teacher education and vocational education, as well as the educational cooperation between Singapore and China.
