Publish Date:2018-02-26

From January 29 to 31, 2018, IICE Professor LIU Baocun attended the Erasmus Mundus MARIHE (Master of Research and Innovation in Higher Education) consortium meeting at the Tampere University in Finland. The meeting focused on such issues as student admission, program management, and quality assurance for the 2017-2018 academic year, and discussion of application for a new program.

MARIHE is currently a 4-university alliance program, originally initiated by Danube University Krems (Austria) in 2012; three other universities joined as partners: Beijing Normal University, University of Tampere (Finland), and University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück (Germany). MARIHE is supported by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union under the action of a Joint Master Degree. The program has been enrolling students for 5 years, with graduates of three consecutive years successfully finishing their courses and obtaining their degrees. On this occasion, all parts involved decided to enlarge the program by inviting Eötvös Loránd University of Hungary and Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology of India to join the program, and have submitted an application to the European Union.
