IICE distinguished Professor GU Mingyuan delivered a speech entitled ‘Future Education at the Age of Internet’ at the summit, elaborating upon ‘the changed’ and ‘the unchanged’ of education in the future. Prof. GU summarized that ‘the changed’ of education in the future includes means of education, approaches to education and even contents of education, while imparting true knowledge and cultivating moral talents will remain unchanged as the mission of the education. Prof. GU points out that in the coming years when education will be diversified in contents and means, teachers must attach equal prominence to instructing students to better adapt to the changing world with new skills and knowledge, and also to the essence of education, which is shaping students’ integrity and morality.
