Following a respective introduction of GPE and IICE, both sides held extensive talks on academic exchanges and went into detail as to future cooperation.

GPE, established in 2002, is a multi-stakeholder partnership and funding platform that aims to strengthen education systems in developing countries in order to dramatically increase the number of children who are in school and learning.
