Comparative Education in China

IICE Associate Professor TENG Jun’s talk with Representative from NORRAG

On May 11, 2017, IICE Associate Professor TENG Jun met Dr. Joost Monks, the Executive Director of NORRAG (Network for International Policies and Cooperation in Education and Training) from Switzerland. NORRAG is an internationally recognized, multi-stakeholder network which has been seeking to inform, challenge and influence international education and training policies and cooperation over the past three decades. In recent years, NORRAG has mainly focused on such significant educational issues as educational and training policies under 2030 Agenda, global governance in education and training, vocational education policies and praxis in developing nations and so on. These aspects are highly consistent with the cultivation goals of IICE. Based on a thorough knowledge of each other’s strengths, including NORRAG’s mission and IICE’s programs, Dr. TENG and Dr. Monks expressed willingness to establish cooperative ties, and they discussed about a joint educational conference next year.
