Forum Mission:


        Currently, science and technology is advancing by leaps and bounds, promoting the rapid development of a knowledge economy. With fierce international competition, increasing economic globalization and growing cultural diversification, education is faced with new situations, problems and challenges. Countries worldwide have placed education as a strategic priority, and chosen educational reform and innovation as an important means of dealing with challenges and improving international competitiveness. Improving quality, strengthening equity and promoting development have become common themes throughout global educational reform.

        After successfully holding the Worldwide Forum for Comparative Education three times, the Centre for Comparative Education, Beijing Normal University has decided to hold the Fourth Forum to provide a platform of exchanging ideas, solving problems and sharing experience with the academia at home and abroad. We sincerely welcome you to join us for this international grand meeting in Beijing.

  • Round-trip transportation and accommodation costs to be paid by attendee 

Deadline for Registration:

The registration form should be submitted by email before June 30, 2011.

Deadline for Abstracts:

The abstracts (over 300 words) of papers should be submitted before July 30, 2011 by email.

Deadline for Papers:

The full text of paper should be submitted before August 30, 2011 by email.
Those who do not submit a paper before August 30, 2011 will not be scheduled to give a presentation at the forum.
