On April 12th, 2024, Associate Professor GUO Jia from the School of Government Management at Beijing Normal University delivered a lecture titled "Understanding the Whole-Process People's Democracy in China from the Policy Process Perspective". The lecture was chaired by IICE Associate Professor LIU Min.

Associate Professor GUO introduced China's political system and administrative structure, elaborating on the development process of whole-process people's democracy. Using education decision-making as an example, he explained the main characteristics of whole-process people's democracy. At the end of the lecture, both professors patiently answered questions from the students.

Associate Professor GUO Jia serves as the Vice Dean and Associate Professor at the School of Government, Beijing Normal University. She is a member of several important social organizations in China and his main research areas include public policy, non-profit organizations, and comparative politics.
