Comparative Education in China

On August 28, 2016, Distinguished Professor Keith Lewin from the University of Sussex delivered a lecture entitled “The English Education System: Organizing Learning and Teaching and Teacher Education” for IICE’s International Education Podium. The lecture was chaired by Dr. HE Xiaona and attended by graduate students from the IICE and teachers from a number of high schools in Beijing.

The lecture addressed topics including structure of the English education system, current status and concerns, the English national curriculum, inequity, achievement and teacher education.
