Prof. Ruiz’s lecture consisted of two core parts. He first introduced the history of Argentina and current status starting from the historical background of Latin America. Then, he emphasized on Argentina’s situation of education, including the current educational system of Argentina, the reforms of educational system in the first and second round of national structure adjustment, the discrepancies of educational systems in different regions, and the problems and impacts which still exist in the educational system after the reforms.
Last but not least, a Q&A session was lively held between students and Prof. Ruiz. The lecture ended successfully in a relaxed atmosphere.
