王璐 女，教育学博士，副教授；本科毕业于山西大学外语系英语专业；硕士研究生毕业于北京师范大学国际与比较教育研究所，之后留所工作。1997年获得英国苏塞克斯大学教育学院博士学位，1998-99年返回北京师范大学国际与比较教育研究所工作，之后在英国苏塞克斯大学发展研究院任研究员。2004年至今在北京师范大学国际与比较教育研究所任教。
曾任世界银行基础教育项目专家、联合国教科文组织教育质量指标研究专家及英国海外发展部甘肃基础教育项目专家，曾参与北师大与英国苏塞克斯大学义务教育合作研究项目、中外教育改革指导思想研究项目、外国教育督导制度等项目的研究工作。
在英国工作期间主要参与中国经济改革和社会转型与城市贫困项目研究，作为项目负责人承担了英国文化委员会、英国儿童救助会及英国学术委员会资助的中国城市流动儿童义务教育问题研究。
主要研究方向和研究兴趣：英国教育；教育督导与评价；基础教育；教育与社会
