IICE Professors JIANG Yingmin Attend the 33rd Annual Conference of the Japan Society for International Education

On June 29-30, 2024, IICE Professors JIANG Yingmin, Associate Professor DING Ruichang, and Associate Professor HU Diyun went to Japan to attend the 33rd Annual Conference of the Japan Society for International Education. At the conference, Professor JIANG presented a report titled "Coexistence with the 'Incomprehensible' OtherThe 'Alterity' Projects Practice in Chengdu, 2024" (「理解できなさ」をもつ他者との共生—「異己」プロジェクト2024年の成都実). Associate Professor DING and Associate Professor HU delivered presentations titled "The Progress and Challenges of SDG4: Insights from PISA 2022" and "Can 'International Understanding' Be Successfully Taught in Schools? - Empirical Results from a Regional University-School Partnership Project in Chengdu, China", respectively.

During the conference, the three professors engaged in in-depth discussions on international education with scholars from Japan and South Korea, sharing valuable experiences from China's efforts in promoting international understanding in education. Their participation not only showcased our institute's latest research achievements in the field of international education but also strengthened academic exchanges and cooperation with the international scholarly community, laying a solid foundation for future research and collaboration.
