From May 10 to 12, 2018, the 11th Biennial Conference of the Comparative Education Society of Asia (CESA) was held in Siem Riep, Cambodia, hosted by Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI) Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC). The theme of the conference was ‘Education and Social Progress: Insights from Comparative Perspectives’. More than 300 participants from 25 nations attended the conference.
IICE Professor LIU Baocun, Professor David Turner, Professor XIAO Su, Professor GAO Yimin, Professor SUN Jin, Associate Professor HUANG Yu, Associate Professor TENG Jun, Dr. ZHANG Mengqi and student representatives attended the conference and delivered presentations on various topics including subject development, overseas education, internationalization of talent cultivation, and university culture development.
After the biennial conference, some of the faculty and students also attended the workshop on writing and publishing in international journals.
