An opening dance was firstly performed by Year 1 master’s students collectively.

Then Prof. LIU Baocun, on behalf of all the faculty members of IICE, extended very warm wishes to students for a good new year.

The following period witnessed the aesthetic talents of IICE’s students and professors including plays, songs in various languages, various international dances, puzzle games, ensembles of traditional music instruments, and poetry recitals. A lucky draw was arranged after the shows, and the abundant prizes included a book with Prof. GU Mingyuan’s hand-signature and Prof. LIN Jie’s calligraphy and painting.  

The celebration ended with the sharing of the most delicious thing of the night (can you guess?): a cake brought by Prof. GU for everyone!
