Prof. LIU delivered a speech entitled “How to Lead Research Teams and Collaborate Projects: Experiences and Challenges of a Chinese Research Team Leader.” Taking the IICE as a case, Prof. LIU introduced the institute’s leadership and development in various aspects including missions, key research areas, research plans, team buildup, and international collaboration, analyzing the new problems and challenges in teamwork development that the IICE faced as well as summarizing some experiences.
After the seminar, Prof. LIU delivered another lecture entitled “National Strategies to Build World Class Universities in China: A Comparative Perspective,” analyzing concepts, features and development trajectories of world class universities followed by an elaboration of the history, policies, effects, problems and future plans of China to build world class universities.
Besides, Prof. LIU also joined a summary session for the LEAD Project Job Shadowing Brussels.
