      Dr. Gregory Kaplan, CEO and Publisher of Bridge21 Publications, LLC, and Managing Editor Rebecca Lombardi, and Dr. WANG Xianghua, Director of Curriculum Coordination at University of Hong Kong visited IICE at Beijing Normal University. Director LIU Baocun and Dr. LIU Qiang cordially welcomed our guests.
      During the meeting, Director LIU Baocun introduced in details about IICE and its achievements in higher education, scientific research, and international cooperation. Dr. Kaplan filled in on the recent developments at Bridge21 Publications, especially the recently published book Peking University and the Origins of Higher Education in China by Mr. HAO Ping, Deputy Minister of Education, and expressed the intention to cooperate with IICE in the international academic publishing and English academic publications sector. Both parties discussed the possibilities of co-operations in the future.
