Assistant Professor Dr. LIU Min was invited to present at Zhejiang Normal University for the African Education Delegation, coordinated by the Ministry of Commerce.
The African Education Delegation is made up of teacher representatives from Tunisia, Madagascar, Cameron, and several other French speaking African countries. Dr. LIU Min conducted a presentation in French to the delegates about the characteristics of Chinese culture, especially the influence of traditional culture on China today. From there, Dr. LIU proceeded to explain the impact of traditional Chinese education, Western Education systems, Globalization of Education, and multi-cultural movements on contemporary Chinese education. Dr. LIU’s presentation gave a fundamental understanding of the culture-rich Chinese education and built a great foundation for future bilateral exchange. After the lecture, many delegates seized the great opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A session and a great discussion was enjoyed by everyone present.
Last but not least, Dr. LIU introduced to the delegates the International Master’s Program at IICE, and welcomes outstanding students from Africa to apply.
